Get latina women

Who are bilingual and interested in supporting latinx artists and creators

To shop and become advocates

By creating a store with strong branding that highlights cultural elements and promotes self love.

The idea

The rising Latinx/bilingual population in the USA seeks to support artists, creators, and small businesses that enhance their culture, traditions, and rhetoric.

To help create and establish a brand that distributed handmade Mexican jewelry and quirky, funny apparel featuring popular phrases and bilingual concepts, we made experiential marketing experiences of inviting the target audience to model, use, shop, and become ambassadors of the brand on a commission-based program.

Before creating the online store, I developed a business plan that included branding, marketing, budget, and strategy. Each product was made with the target audience in mind and curated and paired with engaging copy. Optimizing the website and the shopping experience with a bilingual website and national shipments.

My role:

  • Designed brand identity from logo, and color palette, to brand voice and UX experience.

  • Created e-commerce website: UX design, product photography, and copywriting.

  • Content creation: for social media and regular blog posts titled "Chingona Shoutouts," which highlighted incredible Latinx women making a difference and rocking it in the US. By highlighting local, real women we increased our re-shares, engagement, and UGC.

  • Implemented an abandoned cart system that reached out to customers that dropped out of the funnel, increasing sales and leads (newsletter subscribers and social followers).

  • Designed and sourced apparel in collaboration with Latinx artists and Mexican jewelry makers, along with certificates of authenticity that provided more information about the crafter behind each piece.

  • Organized and executed photoshoots, from creative concepts to model calls.

  • Coordinated and attended pop-up events that improved brand awareness and boosted 1-on-1 sales.

  • Executed social media strategy and content creation.

  • Developed partnerships with artists, writers, and content creators.

"Created to empower, inspire and lift up #chingonas into the best version of themselves.  At Queen de mi Corazón we believe in self-love, the importance of taking care of yourself, and emotional and financial independence for all our Latina sisters.
We believe no human is illegal, black and brown lives matter, families belong together, and all bodies are beautiful.

We want to lift you up; we want you to become the one and only Queen de Tu Corazón.”
